CANCELLED: Maine Maple Sunday - our event on March 22 has been cancelled.
Maine Maple Syrup
wood fired, hand packaged in glass
CANCELLED - Friends we have made the decision to cancel our annual Maine Maple Sunday celebration. When a tree in the sugarbush shows signs of distress or illness we don’t tap the tree. We choose instead to give it the opportunity to regain health without the additional stress of our presence. The trees take care of each other in amazing ways through mycorrhizal connections in the soil they share. Choosing to cancel is our way of giving thanks to and taking care of the community we serve, the community that supports us. We’re looking at this cancellation as an opportunity to host a summer maple event. Until our cross paths next, please find True Mountain Maple Syrup at Tranten’s in Kingfield and Farmington and the Better Living Center in Farmington. #keepitsweet!
Located in Industry, Maine at the foot of Norton and True Mountains, we are family owned and operated by Mark Prentiss and Kim Roberts. We are most often found outside working with the farm and forest, and often neglect our website and social media responsibilities so that we can spend more time outside or in the kitchen conducting maple syrup experiments.
If you are eating at Rolling Fatties in Kingfield, staying at Hostel of Maine in Carrabassett Valley or staying at any of the Maine Huts & Trails then you are being served True Mountain Maple Syrup. Rolling Fatties uses our syrup in their cooking! And you can help yourself to True Mountain Maple for/on breakfast at H.O.ME.
